Must I attend Course 1 (Introduction to Freedom and Maturity) before I can attend Courses 2 or 3?

Yes, Course 1 is a requirement for Course 2.  There are NO requirements for Course 3.

May I attend the “Opening Session” free?

Yes, the “Opening Sessions” of Course 1 (Introduction to Freedom and Maturity) and Course 3 (Marriage and Family) are free and open to the public; however, the “Opening Session” of Course 2 is NOT open to the public, since Course 1 is a prerequisite for this course.

May I register for the course after attending the “Opening Session”?

Yes, if you decide that you would like to stay for the entire seminar, you may register at that time.

I can’t attend the entire seminar. May I attend part of the sessions?

Although you will need to pay the cost of the entire seminar, you may attend sessions as your schedule permits.

I have attended Course 1 in the past. Do I need to pay for this course again?

Once you have attended a course, future attendance at that specific course is free.

Does Deeper Walk offer some type of certification after I complete Courses 1-3?

A nicely framed certificate of completion is available for those who complete all three courses, do the assigned reading, and finish the projects for each course.  Courses can be attended in person (recommended), but can also be done online or by watching the DVD series associated with the course.

What is the format of the seminar?

The format of this seminar is lecture with time for questions. Refreshments will be served between each session.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.  Casual, comfortable, layered clothing (jeans, slacks, capris, sweaters, tennis shoes,) is recommended.

Do we break for lunch?

There is a 1 ½ hr. scheduled lunch break.  Many venture out together for lunch at neighboring restaurants, while others “brown bag” it.

Will resources be available for purchase at the seminar?

A book table with a variety of resource materials (books, CDs, DVDs) will be available throughout the seminar. You may also purchase additional materials online from Deeper Walk’s online store!
